Silent Sunday on Frequently Feline: Tabby Table Manners

Humans and cats! What a marvelous combination. Who'da thunk that table manners are important? Obviously this lady has strict rules for tabby at the table!

Enjoy this very funny video and if you are inspired to try this, let us know!

Any cat that can eat with a spoon/fork/chopsticks deserves to be a star. What patience it must have taken to teach her to eat that way. I'm lucky that my cat is just willing to eat her prescription diet cat food!!!

Well I thought I had seen it all when she ate with a fork. Then, out came the chopsticks. I thought I was seeing things. This kitty needs to be on the cover of a magazine, and do a stint on Oprah!

Oh my goodness, i thought that was amazing. I am just happy when the food doesn't go all over the counter lol. Where do you find this stuff?

I would never in my wildest imagination have entertained the idea that a cat could or WOULD eat with utensils. Who would ever think of even trying such a thing?

This is amazing! If I had not seen it on video, I never would have believed it! I am so impressed!

At MY house, the cats have the people trained in how and where and what they will eat. Mine are known to scoop out some food and dump it on the floor (they have a feline place mat, thanks to Jo) and eat it from there. Our DSH, Rao, will pick up pieces of dry food and drop them in the water dish, so the water dish has been moved away and is up on the brick hearth of the nearby fireplace.

I cannot believe training a cat to eat with utensils. I'd be curious if she can train other cats to do it.
