Fabulous Friday on Frequently Feline: Pet of the Week

CatWomanCatera's little bunny, Mika just stole my heart. Being the cutest lil critter, I just had to give this prestigious award for strong "awww" appeal as well.

Congratulations to CatWomanCatera and Mika. Leave a paw's up comment for them, please!

Not only is Truly our Pet of the Week, but he also is celebrating his 5 month-old birthday.

His mamma, Carol, is very proud of her puppy! Now isn't that a face that could melt anyone's heart?

Lets congratulate Carol and Truly for their Pet of the Week win, and send him lots of doggie birthday wishes, by leaving a comment.

Silent Sunday on Frequently Feline

I got a kick out of this thought provoking video, made by klusmanp.

Illustrating the proper care and practical benefits of cats, this delightful short film is chock-full of interesting information. The video maker assures us that no humans, cats or engineers were harmed during the making of this film, although he clearly states that the cats were "slightly annoyed."

Song credit on the finale of the video is "Sparkey's New Bike" from Shockwave-sound. com, a royalty free music website.

Did the video add to your scientific knowledge-base about cats? Leave a comment to share your thoughts.

Fabulous Friday on Frequently Feline! Meet Essie

Essie was born in the country, but is now a city kitty. Once the the runt of the litter, Janis, working together with her vet assures us that Essie's diminuitive size may be temporary once she is rid of parasites.

Janis is being kept busy with her new "baby." Since Janis was thinking it was time for her to get a kitty, Essie arrived just in time.

At eleven weeks old, Essie weighs in at about a pound and a half. Her former owners claimed that she was 11 weeks old, but her vet suspects she is younger.

Wearing a rainbow of colors, Essie's vet calls her a Calico with brindle mix. Her coat pattern is quite unique, don't you think?

So please join me in welcoming Janis back to kitty servitude, and conCATulate Essie as our Pet of the Week, by leaving a comment.

Silent Sunday on Frequently Feline: Creative Cat Toy?

I am not so sure about this "free and creative" cat toy that ZackScott has suggested. While it costs little, financially, and one can groom a cat and reap the rewards, I just wonder about its safety should your cat ingest it.

Cat lovers out there, please leave a comment with your considerations.

Fabulous Friday on Frequently Feline! Meet Sammi

My internet buddy, Jamaka just added another family member named Sammi. 13 years-of-age, he is a spectacular Maine Coon.

His loving humans became too elderly and fragile to give him the care they knew he rightly deserves, so he is now sharing Jamaka's home and heart.

So meet Sammi, the newest member of the feline team, and is now the Pet of the Week.

A paws up to Jamaka and conCATulations to Sammi. Please do leave a comment of appurciation for the team
