Fabulous Friday on Frequently Feline: Meet Izzy

There is something about kittens that are so appealing. This little lady, named Izzy, turned 6 months-of-age the other day. Her proud adoptive human "mom" brought Izzy into her heart and home in October, 2008, when she was 11 weeks old.

The runt of the litter, she tipped the scales as a light weight at 1.5 pounds, but with loving care and some great food, she is growing into a most beautiful feline. Janis doesn't spoil her at all, of course, but provides her with the best cat accessories she can find.

We happily announce Izzy as our Pet of the Week, and send our conCATulations, of course.
Please leave a round of apaws in comments, for Izzy and Janis for their prestigious award this week.

What a little cutie she is! Almost looks odd-eyed, but she's not.

ADORABLE....I find myself almost every week resisting the urge to go get another kitten since I lost Flakey last April. But alas, I know it would not be a good match with my pride of 5...Missy still doesn't like Mouse, and Mouse is so totally in charge at the ripe old age of 2, I don't think he'd tolerate a kitten. Five is enough for now :::sigh::: but I wish I could have 500...all spayed, neutered, on several acres of land, all fenced in (top included) with barns and a vet on duty...that's my dream if I ever win the lottery...which would be a cute trick cause I don't PLAY the lottery LOLOL Joke's on me!

Thank you everyone for all the nice comments. :-) We truly feel blessed. She has totally stole our hearts. My husband who has never been a cat lover adores Izzy and just says she's different and not the average cat. My husband has changed so much when it comes to cats since we got Izzy. He calls her our baby girl and she acts like it too. LOL She is very active and constantly pouncing on one of us and running like crazy and we absolutely love it. LOL She fills our life with laughter. Thank you everyone, Janis
