Silent Sunday on Frequently Feline

I think this adorable kitten is telling the truth about his real feelings about the "green stuff" that his owners are putting in his plate. In this very humorous video uploaded to YouTube by kimberlyjennery we get the real picture.

However, the comment posted on the site was, "We knew that Kiwi loves broccoli, but it was a surprise to find out that tiny Captain Pugwash not only loves it, but loves it truly, madly, fiercely!!! Listen to the growlies and look at the paw whappies!"

Do you think that Captain Pugwash is enjoying himself? Leave a comment and let us know.

This is hilarious! I may stop at Kroger later and pick up a couple broccoli flowerets from the salad bar and see what happens with my 5. Years ago, Dew would fight for the leaves off the top of the celery, it was almost like catnip to him.

I've given mine broccoli florets and she chews a bit on them but she swats them around on the floor more than anything. My grand kids love watching her swat grapes on the floor and she bites them occasionally but doesn't eat them so far.

Who knows what lurks in the minds of kittens and for that matter, cats. Our cats have come up with some incredible yearnings over the years including eating my miniature rose bush, cauliflower, corn on the cob and hot oatmeal. I looked at some of the other videos of this kitten and he looks fat and sassy so it isn't a hunger thing so much as it is a "It's Mine!" thing. This little one sure has some food aggression issues, LOL

I have found kittens will take to veggies but as they get older they will not fight for it as much.

I have them playing with peas on the floor aka kitten pea hockey. Green beans are a favorite also.

Now I did have one who would attack a chunk of cantaloupe like she had never had any food for a week that and vanilla ice cream and not the cheap stuff either.

That is just too cute. It sent me to the floor laughing. Of all things for a kitty to fight for. He is just adorable

Never had a cat who ate broccoli! I've had one that was insane about canned peaches, though. Went flying through the air, grabbed one off my daughter's fork, hid under a table with it and chomping it down. Another time, I had made a pineapple upside down cake and a peach upside down cake. Wrapped on the table. Came home later and the cat had ripped off the Saran Wrap, dug through the cake, and eaten the peaches, leaving gooey brown pawprints on the table!

Another cat I had would eat almost anything: bread, beans, plain cooked pasta. Her fave food in the world was bacon and we used to call her The Bacon Slut.

My cat Baby, like most Ragamuffins, likes canned pumpkin. It is very good for long-hairs. He also will drink my herbal tea, but only if I sweeten it.

Stella, my mom used to have a cat that ate canteloup. Rind, seeds, and all.

That was hilarious! I used to have a cat that would go nuts over citrus. Anything orange smelling. Which is weird as it's normally used to put cats off from scratching. (Hugs)Indigo
