Fabulous Friday on Frequently Feline: Meet Hopi

This little black kitty is one lucky guy. My pal Sharon, recently brought this feral kitten into her house and heart. Here is what Sharon wrote me about him:

"I took in one of my outdoor cats. He was getting bullied by some neighborhood cats, and since he is so passive, he doesn't fight back. He is all cleaned up and making himself right at home. His name is Hopi, with a long O.

After I named him, I learned that Hopi means The Peaceful One, which describes him perfectly. He is so loving and cuddly, its hard to believe he is a feral kitten".

So in honor of his rescue and his beauty, he has won the honor of being our Pet of the Week. ConCatulations to Hopi and Sharon.

Please leave apaws for both of them in a comment. Thank you!

Silent Sunday on Frequently Feline

I think this adorable kitten is telling the truth about his real feelings about the "green stuff" that his owners are putting in his plate. In this very humorous video uploaded to YouTube by kimberlyjennery we get the real picture.

However, the comment posted on the site was, "We knew that Kiwi loves broccoli, but it was a surprise to find out that tiny Captain Pugwash not only loves it, but loves it truly, madly, fiercely!!! Listen to the growlies and look at the paw whappies!"

Do you think that Captain Pugwash is enjoying himself? Leave a comment and let us know.

Fabulous Friday on Frequently Feline: Meet Popcorn

This adorable kitten, named Popcorn, was a very willing subject for my photographer friend, Jim Arnold. Jim always finds the best shots, and has a great talent for purrsuading those of the feline species to pose so coquetishly.

Check out his blog and enjoy his excellent photos.

Jim's caption of this photo is "Popcorn looking up to see who is spoiling their catnip." I betcha anything that Jim is has it in his pocket so that Popcorn will cooperate.

Popcorn is our choice for pet of the week and the second one in 2009! Let's conCATulate them with a round of apaws.

Silent Sunday on Frequently Feline: Happy Mew Year

What a wonderfully wintery scene.. purrfect for wishing you all very Happy Mew Year!

Fabulous Friday on Frequently Feline: Meet Saki

Saki, the obvious king of "his" household purrhaps is vying as a model to advertise Tupperware. Sharon, his faithful kitty servant should definitely consider becoming his agent.

This adorable pussycat, with his obvious good taste in food storage items deserves his honorable win as Pet of The Week. Let's give a round of apaws to both Saki, and Sharon, by leaving a comment for them.

Silent Sunday on Frequently Feline:Needs a Caption

Recently there have been a slew of "boxing cats" videos, circulating. This one, uploaded to YouTube by hannahrie demonstrates two kitties working hard in training.

I got a real kick out of this one. But we need an compelling caption/title for the little movie.

So please leave a comment with your ideas. Thanks for playing with us.
