Olympic Equestrian Games: TV Schedule!

It is extremely frustrating having to wait and watch in order to learn when the Equestrian Games will be featured on TV. The previous Summer Olympics had sparse coverage as far as I was concerned.

However I was lucky enough to find an extended schedule posted on the Internet. Some of the channels have not been announced, and if anyone reading this can leave a comment with the missing information, it would be highly appreciated.

Here is the schedule for those folks who are chomping at the bit to watch. You can set your DVR recorders in a few days, in order not to miss any of the events.

Summer Olympic Games: Culinary Customs Hard to Swallow.

While I look forward to the Summer Olympics, at the same time I am having difficulty understanding why the Chinese and other Asian countries serve dog meat.

All Summer Game contracted hotels and restaurants have been ordered to withdraw dog meat from their menus to avoid upset and protests from those particpants and visitors who find the practice odious.

And while I mean no disrespect to Chinese culinary customs, there is something about serving up a canine companion that leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

How do you feel about the temporary ban on dog meat during the Summer Games? Leave a comment and share.
